Aerotek is looking for an individual to join an Engineering firm in Raleigh/Durham area. This is a full-time opportunity with full benefits. Engineering firm is looking for individuals that they can invest in and who are looking for a great culture.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry in the field to comply with project specifications
- Documentation of field activities, observations, and testing results on construction projects
- Use of field and laboratory equipment for testing on soil and concrete and preparing reports of results
- Communication with field consultants and construction services to ensure safety and efficiency
Qualifications
-Bachelors degree
-Experience/Education within Environmental/Construction/Engineering
-Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand on feet for 8-10 hours at a time
-Working towards or has completed Hazwoper/OSHA training
-Ability to apply engineering principles in the field to determine field adjustments
-Self-motivated and trainable individual
-Ability to work as a team and independently
-Good communication and written skills
-Experience with Microsoft Office/Computers/Tablet/Iphone
-Experience/Education within Environmental/Construction/Engineering

$30,000-45,000, based on experience/certifications
