Description
Aerotek is currently looking for a full-time Cad Technician in Raleigh/Durham area to assist in the production of maps and drawings using Autocad Civil 3D
Job responsibilities:
- Work directly with surveyors, engineers, and other technicians to assist in the development of survey plats, base maps and construction documents for a variety of projects in the private, state, municipal and federal sectors.
- Prepare Boundary & Topographic Surveys, ALTA surveys and As-built Surveys
- Create surveys from field crew data collector files (points), field sketches, digital photographs and reference maps
- Generate surfaces using 3d polylines & points
- Coordinate project requirements with team members and provide assistance when necessary to complete required tasks
Qualifications
· Associates or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
· Experience with Autocad, Civil 3D or Microstation
· Experience using Microsoft Office and Excel
· Must have good Mathematical skills
Benefits:
· Salary ranges from $40,000-70,000 based on experience.
