Job description: The essential job functions of the Retail Sales Specialist will include but not be limited to:

  • Assist in opening and closing store duties as directed by management team with the goal to have a clean and sanitary environment at all times

  • Greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner

  • Deliver excellent customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling and sharing product knowledge

  • Process payments through the Square system by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash or credit/debit cards

  • Develop intimate product knowledge in multiple categories for the purpose of accurately engaging customers on benefits of products in the store

  • Alert management of potential security issues

  • Assist with inventory, including receiving, pricing and stocking merchandise

Computer proficient and competent in the use of Square and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
Experience in the golf industry and golf product knowledge is required
High level of focus on the customer experience
Good organizational and time management skills
Self-Confidence to work with all levels of company management
Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively with a focus on timeliness and responsiveness
Strong social skills as this position will be engaging with external vendor partners and Global Golf customers on a regular basis
Must be dependable and reliable
Strong level of professionalism required
