Job Description
The Quality Assurance Intern position focus includes, but is not limited to: training in all aspects of the manufacturing operation, training in management development, leadership, Engineering, with concentration on Quality Assurance. After initial introduction to plant operations, this individual will work in the Quality Assurance Department receiving training in all aspects of the Quality Assurance and manufacturing processes. You will also be involved on a daily basis with plant operation decisions.
The successful candidate will be pursuing a BS Degree in Bio- Renewable Systems, Wood Science, Forest Products, Engineering or other Wood- or Science-related fields. Candidates should be proficient in Excel, Word andPowerPoint. Basic knowledge of statistics and statistical tools, SPC, Lean Sigma, MiniTab and ISO 9000, is desired.
