Description

McGill is a civil engineering firm focused on helping municipalities solve their water / wastewater challenges. Whether it’s providing safe drinking water or properly treating wastewater, responsible water management is vital for growth and quality of life in every community.  Our team designs solutions that meet each community's unique need by approaching each project with a fresh perspective.

The Engineering Associate (EA) is an entry level position designed to introduce new graduates to the field of civil/environmental engineering, particularly water / wastewater. The EA is assigned to a team and reports directly to a Project Manager. This team approach allows each new graduate to become familiar with basic concepts including basic engineering computations, design, layout, modeling, CAD and engineering reports for all types of water / wastewater projects.

Each project is unique and allows new graduates the opportunity to ask questions, seek guidance, and grow as a new professional. This career track is suitable for those graduating with a degree in civil or environmental engineering who plan to pursue PE license.
