Description

The International Marketing Office of the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS) is seeking an International Marketing Intern from January 2 through May 31, 2020. Rising seniors in their program of study are preferred.


The position is for 15-30 hours per week depending on availability and work load. The wage will be $15.00 per hour. Agriculture and international knowledge or experience is preferred. Knowledge of filming, producing and editing videos is especially desirable.


The internship will be at NCDA&CS at 2 West Edenton Street in Raleigh. It will be funded by the Southern Unites States Trade Organization (SUSTA). Responsibilities include:  1) recruiting companies for SUSTA activities, 2) international marketing research, 3) education & outreach, 4) marketing activities, 5) activity development, 6) activity management, 7) developing social media contents, and 8) other efforts assisting companies in international support activities related to the FAS / SUSTA Market Access Program.
