Description
· Oversee & document establishment and mid-rotation plantation activities
· Complete forest inventories
· Collect GPS field data
· Mark timber sale and SMZ boundaries
· Assist with prescribed burns
· Assist with forest research work
· Assist with tree breeding activities
Qualifications
• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Forestry
• Good communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; introduction to GIS systems
• Insurable driving record (meeting company standard)
• Ability to work outside and meet standard productivity targets
• Ability to work independently & as part of a team
• Ability & willingness to travel
