Description

Wildfire Remote Sensing / Fire Behavior (Meteorology and Climate
Science; JOID# 25210).* The Department of Meteorology and Climate Science
at SJSU is seeking applicants at the rank of Assistant Professor
(Tenure-Track) with a specialization in wildfire remote sensing and fire
behavior with expertise in either satellite and/or airborne observations of
wildfire. Applicants MUST have completed a PhD in Atmospheric Science or
Earth Sciences, or a closely-related field by the start of the appointment.
The applicant must have expertise in wildfire behavior using remote sensing
platforms including airborne and/or satellite sensor systems. Postdoctoral
experience is preferred as well as a record of publication in the wildfire
sciences.
