Dr. Melissa Pasquinelli Named Associate Dean for Academic Affairs

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Melissa Pasquinelli will be joining the College of Natural Resources as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.

Dr. Pasquinelli is currently Associate Department Head and Director of Graduate Programs in the Department of Textile Engineering, Chemistry and Science in the Wilson College of Textiles. She is a Fellow of the American Chemical Society, a University Faculty Scholar, and the winner of the 2018 Board of Governor’s Award for Teaching Excellence.

Dr. Pasquinelli relishes in mentoring young scientists and engineers, with members of her research team spanning from high school students to postdoctoral researchers. Her energy, creativity and passion for teaching and learning will bring much to the Academic Affairs team and our college.

Dr. Pasquinelli will take on her new role in the College of Natural Resources in May 2019. Current Interim Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Gary Blank, will remain in this position through the beginning of May 2019.
