On Wednesday, March 17, graduate students and post-doctoral researchers, alongside their faculty advisors and mentors, at NC State\u2019s College of Natural Resources proudly displayed their hard work and dedication virtually at the college\u2019s fourth annual Graduate Research Symposium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event, sponsored by the college’s Research Office, brings together the departments of Forestry and Environmental Resources; Forest Biomaterials; Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management; and the Center for Geospatial Analytics. Participants had the opportunity to present their research in a poster session competition and a Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition. Poster competition winners received $1,000 each. 3MT first-place winners received $1,500, while second-place winners received $1,250. See below for recaps of the winners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
