Transfer Credit – Current Students Only
Students in the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management who desire to take courses at another institution must obtain prior written approval from the departmental Office of Undergraduate Programs, located in 4004 Biltmore Hall, in order to ensure transfer credits will apply toward fulfilling graduation requirements. Students often need to provide catalog descriptions for the courses that they would like to transfer. Failure to obtain advance approval may result in not receiving transfer credit. Students may find the Undergraduate Admissions transfer equivalency website helpful.
University Residency Requirement
To be eligible for a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management at NC State, a student must be enrolled in a degree program and must earn at least 30 of the last 45 hours of credit through NC State courses.
