PGA Professional Golf Management
Why did you choose PRTM?
I choose to enter the PGM program at State because of the environment that has been created within the program. It is very rare to find such a close-knit group of people, yet still be able to attend a large university.
What internships or volunteer experiences have you had?
I have been lucky enough to perform three internships during my time at State. The first was for three months at Westchester Country Club in Rye, NY. The next was for seven months at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. And the last was for six months at the National Golf Links of America in Southampton, NY.
What advice would you give to future students?
The best advice I can give to future students is to get involved! The time you will have at State goes by so quickly so it is extremely important to hit the ground running. Try to be a part of every little thing that you can because it will only help you develop and grow as a student, person, and professional.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In ten years I hope to be a Head Golf Professional at a high-end private golf club in the Northeast.
What are your fondest memories about being a student at NC State?
My fondest memories about being a student at NC State are getting to storm the court not once, but twice, after our basketball team took down Duke! NC State is a very special place and will remain a part of my life forever.
