Women in PGA Golf Management is an organization dedicated to promoting application, participation and awareness of women in the golf industry.

This organization, started in 2009 by the women at NC State University, is led by the women of the PGA Golf Management program and is working hard to show the program, the University and the golfing community its capabilities. It hosts an annual conference for women majoring in PGM entitled “Let’s Hear It for the Girls” which includes educational sessions as well as social and golf outings. The conference brings back WPGM alumnae from various PGA Golf Management universities to talk about where young alumni (graduated in the last 5 years) are currently working and what positions they hold. Employers and golf facilities also participate in this event.

Thanks to our partners in the NC State College of Natural Resources Community for Diversity, WPGM is helping redefine the gender norms of women in sport.
