This PRTM student resources<br>page supplements the Graduate School Handbook and includes information specific to the PRTM Department. It is the responsibility of all graduate students to know and understand the degree requirements as explained in both the PRTM<br>Department and Graduate School Handbooks. Students are responsible for the<br>fulfillment of those requirements.  Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management graduate students are admitted to the university through <a href=\"https:\/\/grad.ncsu.edu\/\">NC State\u2019s Graduate School<\/a>. PhD students pursuing a non-academic career are expected to take this Advanced Directed Study (PRT 884) course while PhD students pursuing an academic career path should take PRT 885.
