The Natural Resources Masters Program is a unique, intercollegiate, multidisciplinary program that focuses on several aspects of natural resource policy, management and assessment.<\/strong> Students in this program may pursue a Master of Science in Natural Resources or a non-thesis Master of Natural Resources degree. Both programs require students to select a Technical Option, which combines core courses in resource issues and management with a series of related courses that enhance their understanding of the processes within a variety of technical disciplines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Administered by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management, the Outdoor Recreation Technical Option provides students with the knowledge and skills needed for planning and managing<\/strong> natural resource-based outdoor recreation opportunities and resources. Graduates enjoy positions with parks, recreation and land management agencies as well as with private companies and environmental organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
