Students must provide a their GHIN or related handicap account number and index upon applying to the program. Students may provide documentation of successfully passing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pga.org\/membership\/associate-program\/player-ability-test-pat\">Playing Ability Test (PAT)<\/a>, in addition to the handicap verification, if applicable.<br><strong>Letter of Recommendation<\/strong>: This letter must be from the student\u2019s golf coach or a PGA professional explaining why the student would be a great fit for our program. This will also be accepted in the application portal upon applying to the program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scholarships<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PGA Assistance Fund<\/strong>: This is open to PGA members\u2019 children and grandchildren. <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.pga.org\/scholarship\/\">Apply now<\/a>.<br><strong>LPGA Foundation<\/strong>: We have various scholarships available for students. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lpga.com\/lpga-foundation\/scholarships\">Apply now<\/a>.<br><strong>NC State Pack ASSIST<\/strong>: Shortly upon admission, first-year students are encouraged to apply for all available university, departmental and program-specific scholarships through <a href=\"https:\/\/admissions.ncsu.edu\/2019\/01\/23\/pack-assist-a-student-scholarship-interactive-search-tool\/\">Pack ASSIST<\/a>, NC State\u2019s scholarship portal. Current students should also continue to apply each year for similar awards through this same process.
