Whalen Dillon Receives Travel Award To Attend Landscape Ecology World Congress
Center PhD student Whalen Dillon (Dept. of Forestry and Environmental Resources) has been selected to receive a $500 Student Travel Award sponsored by the US Regional International Association for Landscape Ecology (US-IALE). These competitive awards recognize outstanding graduate students in landscape ecology and provide financial assistance to attend and present research at the annual US-IALE Conference, held this year in Portland, Oregon, in July. Whalen was selected from among a record number of applications received by this year’s awards committee. Congratulations, Whalen, on your success!
