Quiz: Which North Carolina State Park are you?
Chimney Rock State Park
Chimney Rock State Park is in the Western North Carolina mountains. Its known for its 404 foot waterfall, breathtaking views, and rare plant and animal species.
Hanging Rock State Park
Hanging Rock State Park is in Danbury, NC. Hike to hanging rock itself to see beautiful views of the town below. The park also features two waterfalls and a lake open for swimming and canoeing.
William B. Umstead State Park

Carolina Beach State Park
Carolina Beach State Park is located 10 miles south of Wilmington. It's known for its marina that provides access to some of NC's best fishing spots and hiking trails that explore a variety of habitats. It's also home to the Venus Fly Trap.
Gorges State Park
Gorges State Park is located in Translyvania County. It's home to 26 waterfalls, rugged river gorges, and a portion of the 70-mile Foothills Trail. It's also a great place for backpacking and hoseback riding.
