Job Overview
As an Environmental Health and Safety Intern on our team, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Complement the site’s Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) team with technical & tactical environmental support, including inspecting, auditing, and sampling
- Promote sustainability and environmental protection, and facilitate projects to drive continual improvement
- Conduct job hazard analyses and recommend corrective/preventative actions, where EH&S hazards exist and work with cross functional teams to provide EHS support
- Assist in managing site EH&S documentation to include program content and design, EHS data collection and analysis, training documentation, and scheduling

What your background should look like:
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Program, preferred Major(s): Environmental, Health and Safety or related field including engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to compile and analyze data, create Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, and present identified opportunities to the site’s leadership team
