Are you passionate about improving world health and interested in learning more about clinical trials? During this internship you will work closely with a small team of experienced Quality Assurance professionals to learn more about clinical trials and how a contract research organization (CRO) helps its clients to advance healthcare products.
This is a fall internship based from our Durham, NC office and work can be done on a hybrid basis. We anticipate the internship to be up to 15 hours per week.
During this internship, you will:
1. Join audit preparation and coordinate/participate in internal meetings
2. Review audit related documents for exposure to audit related duties
3. Assist in the maintenance of the quality assurance tracker
4. Observe and assist members of the quality assurance team during audit conduct
5. Assist members of the quality assurance teams on various tasks and projects to learn about the daily responsibilities required within a clinical research setting
6. Communicate timely and accurate status updates to team members/manager as required
7. Perform training records scanning and quality control of electronic certified copies
