YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:



  • Provides technical and design services in support of water and wastewater infrastructure projects as part of a project team.

  • Contributes to technical evaluations and reports, prepares design calculations and assessments, and is responsible for assisting in the production of design/construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documents, all under the guidance, supervision, and mentoring of Project Engineers and Project Managers on the design team.

  • Conducts, coordinates, and communicates technical evaluations and designs with the Project Manager and design team to complete work efficiently.

  • Responsible for completing design tasks within a specified budget and schedule, while balancing multiple tasks on multiple projects. Must effectively communicate and correspond with the design team to complete work efficiently and on-time.

  • Stays current with Local, State & Federal Design Standards and Regulations


Qualifications
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Engineering Intern or Engineer in Training Certification.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
Process-oriented individual with strong organization and technical skills.
Solid communicator, able to take and understand directives from Project Manager and coordinate efforts with the design team.
Strong writing and verbal skills.
Able to complete work consistently with moderate flexibility to accommodate varying demands put on them by Project Manager.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

AutoCAD experience is preferred, but not required.
0-4 years of experience
Aptitude for water and wastewater collection, conveyance, storage and treatment for clients in the municipal and public works sector
Process-oriented individual with strong organization and technical skills.
Solid communicator, able to take and understand directives from PM and coordinate efforts with design team.
Strong writing and verbal skills.
