Summer Internship

 

AgCarolina Farm Credit, a $1.4 billion Agricultural Credit Association, covering 34 counties in eastern North Carolina plans to hire up to three interns for our summer internship program. The program is an eight-week internship program in which the student intern will work with an AgCarolina mentor in the loan officer field, credit analyst field, and will spend time with the appraisal unit, which will give the Interns a variety of exposure to the Farm Credit System.

 

Qualifications

Candidates for an internship position should be rising college seniors pursuing a degree in agricultural business, agricultural economics, agronomy, agricultural communications, business, and finance. Preference will be given to students who are residents of eastern North Carolina and who have an agricultural background or at least a knowledge and appreciation of agriculture and rural living. Candidates should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, work ethic, and integrity. Proficiencies with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Salary: $12.00/hr. up to 40 hours per week during summer (approximately 8 weeks)
