Description
Position Summary:
This position will provide direct support to the open research projects for the Data & Policy Program. Primary duties include developing and maintaining and analysis of a MS Access database. The position will report directly to the Director of Programs and work closely with others on the Programs team.
Principle Responsibilities:

- Development and maintenance of multiple MS Access Databases
- Development of Pivot tables in MS Excel to analyze data exported from MS Access
- Analyzing data to identify trends and creating graphs to visually represent the data
- Creating figures and tables in excel
- Preparing reports and white papers
Preference is for in-person applicants but remote applicants will be considered.
Qualifications

• Currently pursing or recently completed an Associate’s, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability or a related degree that emphasizes data analysis
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills, with proficiency in managing/analyzing large data sets
• High proficiency in Excel, including the creation of graphs and use of formulas, is required
• Experience with Python and SQL or MS Access
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and execute critical path thinking to maximize efficiency
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Motivation to take initiative and work well both independently and collaboratively
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and other Office applications
