Description
Civil Consultants provides land planning and civil engineering services to public and private clients in North Carolina. We are seeking a student currently enrolled in an ABET accredited engineering program to intern in our Durham, North Carolina office.
Candidates must be able to successfully work in a team environment to assist engineers and other designers in the preparation of design drawings and supporting documents for civil site and land development projects, using CAD and other types of software. This position offers significant opportunity for technical and professional growth for a motivated individual who demonstrates strong technical capabilities and interpersonal qualities.
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Enrolled in an ABET accredited Bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering, Bio&Ag Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
Orientation to detail, precision and thoroughness
Familiarity AutoCAD software is not a requirement but a strong plus!
Proficiency in commonly used computer software such as Word, Excel, Outlook
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Valid Driver's license
Applicants must be legally authorized to work for in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
