Opportunity is open for Spring Semester 2020


• Develop graphical visualizations using MS PowerBI


• Support internal customer needs through training and building reports to identifying sales/order and Manufacturing trends.
• Daily and monthly monitoring of results in the global data warehouse and SQL based cubes will ensure reliability/accuracy of data.
• Reporting requirements include Sales/Orders and volume analysis by product, customer, paper grade, customer location and manufacturing plant.
• Involvement with new global Manufacturing analytics project


• Analyze data quality in the Global Data Warehouse (i.e. correct, complete, coded, current, reliable)


• Assist with the maintenance of data standards, codes and metadata required to support all global business intelligence solutions and enterprise applications
• Work with business analysts to develop and refine reporting requirements
• Assist with reporting on Mobile Apps to support Sales team


• Support the BI developer to maintain and improve the quality and integrity of the global master data.

Projects will include:
Customer Market Share (CMS) - program collects information from the sales team after visiting clients in four global regions
Data requirements will be expanded and smart phone applications will need to be modified to meet changing expectations. Candidate will be responsible for training regional sales teams on how to use new App functionality, create reports on data submitted, review submission for accuracy and finding trends in the results.
Microsoft Power BI – assist in development on new analytics using data from the global data warehouse
Candidate will link CMS data and design visual analytics to highlight trends in Sales/Orders.
Predictive Profitability – using trends in historical data combined with existing backlog levels and industry expectations the candidate will assist with developing models for predicting Sales, Margins and Adjusted EBITDA results.

Qualifications
IT background will be useful for linking between databases and creating complex formulas
Experience with Microsoft SQL and/or Microsoft Power BI will be very useful
Self-motivated to work alone on assignments with focus on achieving results
Experience working with large quantities of data and organizing into visual graphics
Working knowledge of Excel
