Facilities

The College of Natural Resources utilizes five buildings on NC State’s Central Campus: Biltmore Hall (includes Robertson Wing), Jordan Hall, Jordan Addition, Pulp and Paper Labs, and Hodges Wood Products Lab.

Building Access and Parking Information

Biltmore Hall

Parking

There are two parking places reserved for students, faculty, staff and guests with limited mobility at the rear of Biltmore Hall and Robertson Wing and another accessible space at the front of Biltmore Hall near Robertson Wing.

Building access

The Eastern door of Biltmore Hall has a pushpad that enters to the first floor.  At the end of the hall, the elevator has access to the second, third and fourth floors.

The front entrance of Biltmore Hall has a ramp into the lobby.  The front entrance is only useful for accessing the lobby or Robertson Wing, since the elevator does not go to this level.

Hodges Wood Products Lab

Parking

There are two parking places reserved for students, faculty, staff and guests with limited mobility at the rear of  Robertson Wing and Biltmore Hall.

Building access

The front door of the building is accessible by ramp.

Jordan Hall

Parking

There are two parking places reserved for students, faculty, staff and guests with limited mobility behind Jordan Hall. Another accessible parking spot on Faucette Drive is located between Jordan and Biltmore halls.

Building Access

The front of Jordan Hall is accessible by ramp and has a pushpad power-assisted door.  A ramp also connects the back parking area to the back entrance door. Both the front and back door open to a central lobby area where the building elevator is located. All floors are accessible to the elevator.

Jordan Addition

Parking

There are three parking places reserved for students, faculty, staff and guests with limited mobility on the east side of Jordan Addition, located near the Morrill Drive intersection.

Building Access

Wheelchair-accessible ramps are located near the front of Jordan Addition. One ramp goes east along the front of the building to the main front door with a pushpad. Another ramp, to the far right, leads to the eastern-most door, which is also power-assisted door by pushpad. An elevator is located at the west end of the building and will access to all floors of the building.

Pulp and Paper Labs (PPL)

Parking

There are two parking places reserved for students, faculty, staff and guests with limited mobility at the rear of Biltmore Hall and Robertson Wing.

Building access

Ramps to the front and side doors of the building, which are both power-assisted by pushpad. The side door is located on the western end of the building. Once inside, continue to the end of the hall to the elevator on the east end of the building, which accesses the second and third floors. If entering from the front door, turn right to access the elevator.

Robertson Wing (Biltmore Hall)

Parking

There are two parking places reserved for students, faculty, staff and guests with limited mobility at the rear and one space at the front of Biltmore Hall and Robertson Wing.

Building access

A wheelchair-accessible ramp is located near the entrances of the Pulp and Paper Labs and Robertson Wing. To access the first floor of Robertson Wing, enter at the Biltmore Hall back door, located behind the loading dock. Once inside, turn right to enter Robertsong Wing.

To access  the second floor, enter from the ramp to the front entrance of Biltmore Hall and turn left or use the Pulp and Paper Labs elevator.

To access the third floor of Robertson Wing, enter via the Pulp and Paper Labs elevator and use the powered wheelchair lift.

Note that all parking spaces on campus require parking stickers that are issued through NC State Transportation Department.
