CNR Ambassadors

Welcome

Hello, we are the College of Natural Resources Student Ambassadors!

We serve as liaisons between the College of Natural Resources (CNR) and the community, which includes prospective students, transfer students, parents, alumni, and YOU! Our primary goal is to recruit the best and brightest students into the college, but we also assist with events that help bring the CNR community closer together.

Favorite thing about your major: Having my major geared towards policy empowers me to be able to enact positive change on the environment on a large scale during class projects, internships, and eventually my career.

Favorite thing about your major: My favorite thing about ES is the versatility of the major. I didn’t want to take a very traditional science focused path within environmental science and because of the focal area and versatility I was able to make ES my own to fit my passions and career goals.

Favorite thing about your major: My favorite part of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management is the flexibility and universality that is associated with the vast concentrations. Whether your focus is Program Management, Sustainable Tourism, or Parks and Natural Resources, a multitude of paths and options are available both domestically and internationally. Regardless of your concentration, PRTM students are required to take many of the same courses and thus diverse interests and objectives are brought to the table which fuels creativity and various perspectives. I love that this innovative field is constantly evolving forging new programs and industries and producing a range of career positions and opportunities!

Favorite thing about your major: What I love most about Sport Management at NC State is the close connections I have made with not only my peers, but also my professors and the guest speakers who have come into my class. I feel that with the amount of hands on activities, group projects that we work on, and the large amount of internship hours that I am greatly prepared to work in the sport industry upon graduation.
