Recommending students to the College of Natural Resources helps connect talented, motivated individuals with opportunities to grow and succeed. Your nomination can introduce students to programs and experiences that inspire learning, leadership and a lasting impact on our community.
We’ll help them:
- Learn how our degree programs align with their interests
- Explore career opportunities related to our degrees
- Understand alternative pathways into our college, including transferring and the Dale Earnhardt Legacy Program
- Navigate the application and enrollment processes
While we can’t guarantee every student’s admission into the college, recommending a student will allow us to connect with and ensure each student understands all the possibilities available to them.
Important Deadlines
If you’re recommending a student who has already applied to our college, please fill out the recommendation form by the following deadlines:
- First-year students: Submit your recommendation by Jan. 1 of the student’s senior year of high school to be considered for admission to the College of Natural Resources.
- Transfer students: Submit your recommendation by Feb. 15 of the student’s application year to ensure full consideration for admission.
