CNR Summer Undergrad Research Experience

About

The College of Natural Resources offers its second Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (S.U.R.E.) program to enhance faculty involvement in undergraduate research. This program expands student connections with faculty, diverse ideas, and students from varied backgrounds. It also supports professional development and promotes enrollment in CNR’s graduate programs.

Students are nominated and enrolled by faculty for the program.

Why should I enroll my students?

Your students will:

  • Gain varied perspectives on research that can guide their career paths.
  • Receive mentoring and advice on career development, poster presentations, graduate school applications, and more.
  • Network with peers from other programs and enjoy the summer.
  • Complete Responsible Conduct of Research training and receive certification.
  • Participate in safety training and orientation.
