PGA Jones Cup
NC State's PGA Golf Management program snatches their first ever Jones Cup Championship in Port St. Lucie, FL. The national tournament featuring teams from all 20 PGA Golf Management Universities across the US is sponsored by the PGA of America and Golf Pride.The Pack rallied back from four shots down at the end of the first round on Tuesday to capture the 10th annual PGA Jones Cup Championship. Senior Bryce Aronson led the way and finished shared top medalist honors after shoorting rounds of 76 and 71.

Students interested in the PGA Golf Management program will have the opportunity to ask questions, hear from current students, tour top rated golf facilities and meet future classmates Friday, November 11 from 8am-5pm. NC State's PGA Golf Management Program is one of 20 PGA accredited university programs nationwide. The curriculum provides students the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills necessary for success in the golf industry via extensive classroom studies and internship experience. Students earn a college degree and obtain PGA membership upon job placement.
Let's Hear It For The Girls!
The NC State Women in PGA Golf Management will host women from 17 PGA universities around the country and a group of high school lady golfers from North Carolina for an exciting girls-only conference in late October.
The ladies will enjoy educational sessions, a tour of the Peter Millar Golf Apparel Company and the Women's Carolinas Cup Golf Tournament at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course.

Students in our PGA accredited PGA Golf Management Program (and everyone else in the NC State Community) are excited about the new Arnold Palmer Signature 18-hole, 6,915-yard, par 71 public golf course, with practice range and green golf facility. Located on 1,000 acres on NC State's Centennial Campus close to Downtown Raleigh, the Lonnie Poole Golf Course provides a top-notch, on-site, hands-on learning opportunity for our PGM students.

PGM Students Finish Big in Las Vegas Tournament
NC State PGA Golf Management students, Josh Rackley and Alex Kowalski, finished in second place at the 2010 National Collegiate Golf Championship (NCGC) in Las Vegas November 12-14. Rackley and Kowalski were one of two teams posting a score below par (-1, 71). The Wolfpack PGM students captured the National Skills Challenge overall championship with Rackley additionally picking up honors as the overall Skills Challenge Champion for all division competitors.
