Radar Technology and Computer Analysis at the US Open in Pinehurst
A team of seven NC State golf instructors and products of the PGA Golf Management program demonstrated the TrackMan System to the spectators at the U.S. Open Championship at the Pinehurst Resort and Country Club. The system is a Doppler radar swing analyzer that picks up 25 points of data from every swing, displays them on a computer screen and printout to show a player what adjustments are needed to correct a draw, slice, pull or hook. Read more about it here.
