NC State Environmental Health and Safety
The NC State Environmental Health and Safety Site provides comprehensive resources and guidance on workplace safety, covering office environments, laboratories, outside settings, and facilities/trades to help mitigate risks and promote a safe working environment.

Workers Compensation
The State Government Workers’ Compensation Information provides guidelines for reporting work-related injuries, seeking medical care, submitting required forms, and understanding wage replacement, benefits, and return-to-work policies.
Emergency Preparedness
The Emergency Management and Mission Contiuity has Emergency Preparedness information that includes how to make a personal emergency plan and how to take action for various events that include severe weather, fire, active shooter, and medical events.

Safety Training
- Safety trainings for all employees, accessible in REPORTER: Safety Orientation (EHPS-LS103), Office Ergonomics Awareness (EHPS-OS200).
- If an employee thinks that other safety trainings are needed, they should discuss it with their supervisor.

Reporting Security Concerns and Behaviors
- For emergencies call 911. For non-emergencies, please call University Police: 919-515-3000 or complete the concerning behavior referral form.
- For building issues and safety concerns report to cnr_facilities@ncsu.edu.
- For after-hours building emergencies (which includes anything water-related and building temperatures that are too hot/cold to work safely), please call the facilities hotline at 919-515-2991 and let them know the nature of the issue, which building, and how to contact you to follow up; please also inform the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and the CNR Director of Facilities and Instructional Technology (Josh Gira).
- Non-emergency building issues on weekends should be reported on the next business day.
