Summer School 2021: Psychological and Cultural Dimensions of Sport

Summer classes give you an extra chance to complete courses and stay on track or get ahead in your degree program. For those wishing to graduate early, summer courses let you cross off required classes so you can take others during the fall and spring. You can shave a semester or two off of your college career.

NC State’s Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism Management is offering several courses this summer including PRT 277-601 with Teaching Associate Professor, Kimberly Bush.

PRT 277-601 – Summer Session II (June 28- July 30, 2021)
Are you interested in sport and society? This course examines topics including youth, interscholastic, intercollegiate and professional sport, racial and gender disparities and sport for development. Together, we will examine sport as a social institution and its impact on American society.

For more information about the course, contact Dr. Bush at kabush@ncsu.edu. Also, see more information on summer sessions at NC State and registration.
