About the Women in Sport Leadership Initiative

The Women in Sport Leadership Initiative Spring Series builds on the success of the Women in Sport Leadership Summit, which began in 2022 through a collaboration between the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management and NC State Athletics.

With support from the WWiP Impact Grant, the initiative now includes a broader range of events, including a speaker series, mentoring program, sports clinic, and networking opportunities, all designed to empower and connect students to the industry of women and sports.
