Three Reasons to Study Online
Flexibility
Our department’s online master’s program is designed for working professionals and students with active lifestyles. With our accelerated course format, you will be able to take one course at a time and still complete all degree requirements in two years.
Reduced Costs
An online master’s degree cost substantially less than its on-campus counterpart. Three-hour credits as an on-campus graduate student will cost you $2703.31 whereas an online three-hour credit class will cost you $1385.64. Plus, you’ll enjoy reduced fees overall and no mandatory health insurance charge — a savings of over $1300.
Effectiveness
Research shows that online education can be more effective than traditional classroom instruction for some students. A 2009 study published by the U.S. Department of Education concluded that “students in online conditions performed modestly better, on average, than those learning the same material through traditional face-to-face instruction.”
