Bio
Eleni uses geospatial analytics to assess the spatiotemporal, social and economic impacts of large-scale transportation investments and the associated spatial dynamic processes taking place in nearby regions and neighborhoods. She also uses spatial models to understand how changes in transportation network connectivity relate to socioeconomic outcomes in central and peripheral regions. Other interests include the analysis of aggregate and individual travel demand, preferences and needs of disadvantaged populations for public transportation, microtransit and micromobility.
