Nathan uses geospatial analytics to understand how wildlife populations respond to landscape and environmental change. He develops spatial and spatiotemporal models that integrate animal movement, abundance, demography, and species distributions using telemetry, remote sensing, and other ecological monitoring data. Other interests include quantitative and spatial ecology, movement ecology, population dynamics, and decision-relevant wildlife monitoring.
