Bio

Paul uses geospatial analytics to study the spatial and temporal evolution of coastal environmental change, focusing on shoreline dynamics in the world’s major river deltas shaped by human activities. By combining field data with large language-based visual models, he develops AI-powered algorithms and modeling approaches that reconstruct historical change patterns and forecast delta evolution 5, 10, 20, and 30 years into the future.
