External Awards

External awards refer to any awards, fellowships, or honorary memberships that are awarded outside of NC State University. External recognition can increase visibility for new research or provide deserving acknowledgment for career achievements and contributions to the field. 

Awards and fellowships provide necessary resources that can help faculty build on their research and teaching. Financial support, time and access to an expanded community of scholars are some of the key advantages of receiving an award.

CNR Award Deadlines Google Calendar

CNR has created an Award Deadline Calendar of NC State and other nomination and award deadlines. This can be added to your calendar. This calendar is maintained by the Dean’s office.

Add the CNR Award Deadline Calendar to Your Google Calendar

Step 1. Open Google Calendar, in the upper left area click on the “+” next to the “Add a coworker’s calendar.” Select the option “From URL.”

Step 2. When the Add by URL window opens,  paste this address into the “URL of calendar” field:

Step 3. Click on the Add Calendar button.

The calendar will now show on your calendar.
