Room Access 

If you need access to a lab or need to access CNR buildings beyond standard business hours, contact Sydna Willis. In you request, include the following information:

• If you’re a student, your supervisor will need to submit the request on your behalf.
• The building name(s) and room number(s)
• The reason you need access to that building/room
• If you will need access beyond standard business hours.
• User’s UnityID Number

For requesting access to spaces in Partners II (Centennial Campus), contact Angela Chiang with the above information. 

Grad student office requests should be directed to Steve Griffin. 

If Locked Out

If you are locked out of a reserved FER space (Jordan 3111 or Jordan Addition 3213) or your office:

• Ask Sydna Willis (Jordan 3136-H) to assist you. 
• If Sydna is unavailable, see Dawn Schmitz (Jordan 3120).
• If Sydna and Dawn are unavailable, see Mary Hicks (Jordan 3128).
• If it is after hours and the above contacts are not in office, you must wait until the start of the next business day. 

Available Common Spaces

FER, CNR, and NCSU have a number of common spaces (those beyond dedicated offices and labs) open for reservation. 

When using any of the below spaces, ensure the projector is turned off, and do not leave food or beverage related trash in the rooms. This trash must be disposed of in the appropriate hallway containers.

Lactation Room

There is a lockable room available for anyone who needs to pump or breastfeed. The lactation room includes a private refrigerator, a glider, and storage for breast pumps and other items. Please contact Lois Utt for access.

Repair & Maintenance Requests 

Contact Sydna Willis with the following details:

• Level of urgency
• Building name and room number and additional location description if applicable
• Detailed description of problem

For requests involving Partners II (Centennial Campus), contact Angela Chiang and for requests involving the Turner House, contact Robert McGee. Please CC Sydna Willis as well.

For after business hours emergency facilities repairs (leaking water, major power outage, etc.), call 919-515-2991 immediately. Report emergencies to the appropriate emergency contact, after calling for help.
