Anna is a geospatial research software engineer holding a Ph.D. in Geospatial Analytics. She develops dynamic spatio-temporal models of urbanization and the spread of pests and pathogens across landscape. In her work she focuses on designing intuitive tangible interfaces allowing users to steer geospatial simulations and explore future scenarios. As a member of the OSGeo Foundation and the Open Source GRASS GIS Project Steering Committee, Anna advocates the use of open source software in research and education.
