Meet a Few of Our Outstanding People
Byrd, an Associate Teaching Professor in the Paper Science and Engineering program, teaches multiple courses in the department, helps students through the internship process and plans an international trip every other year so students can see paper operations in other countries.
Schraufnagel, a senior in the Sustainable Materials and Technology program, represented the NC State College of Natural Resources this past summer at the BIO World Congress. She's working with peers to solve bioeconomy-related issues.
