Paper Science and Engineering & Chemical Engineering
Why did you Choose NC State:
I went to a few information sessions about Paper Science and realized it was more interesting and encompassed more than I thought.
What extra-curricular activities / work / service did you participate in during high school? What was you favorite and why?
I was on the varsity tennis and soccer team. I was in the school international club and chess club. I was also in an Engineering Academy at my high school. I worked at a movie theater during high school as well. My favorite activity was varsity tennis because I was a team captain and I enjoyed competing and having fun with teammates.
What are you most excited about as you head to college?
I am excited for independence and the ability to make all my own decisions and take responsibility for them.
What are you most nervous about as you head to college?
I am a little nervous about meeting new people and making friends.
What are you going to miss the most about home?
I will definitely miss my parent’s cooking.
What is your favorite quote?
Never look back, unless you can turn your head around like an owl, then do it because that’s cool.
