  • Paper Science and Engineering & Chemical Engineering

Why did you Choose NC State:

  • I chose NC State because I fell in love with the Paper Science program due to its close knit community and various job/internship opportunities.

What activities did you participate in during high school? What was you favorite and why?

  • Project Lead the Way (PLTW), orchestra, national honor society, math honor society, music honor society, AP scholars, SwimKids swim school (coach), Westridge Waves swim team (head captain), High School Swim and Dive (captain)

What are you most excited about as you head to NC State?

  • I am excited to continue my educational career, meet new people, and make life long memories.

What are you most nervous about as you head to NC State?

  • I’m not nervous at all, just looking forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead.

What would people be surprised to know about you?

  • I was born in Okinawa, Japan and lived there for 3 years.

What are you going to miss from home?

  • I am going to miss all my friends and family from home, but I’m super excited to make more at NC State.

What is your favorite quote?
