Why did you choose Paper Science and Engineering (PSE)?

  • The support that the PSE program gives compared to other programs is very appealing. Having peers and mentors I can turn to for nearly anything has allowed me to excel on my path whatever it may be.

What is your favorite thing about Paper Science and Engineering?

  • Everyone cares, and everyone wants you to succeed. Its a great atmosphere to be a part of.

What is your favorite thing about NC State?

  • The diversity of backgrounds and personalities that your exposed to.

What advice would you offer to an incoming freshman?

  • Don’t be afraid to introduce yourself relationships with peers are uplifting all around.

What would people be surprised to know about you? 

  • I had never even heard of PSE until a few months prior to my freshman FDOC, now its the best decision I’ve made since coming to NCSU.

What is your favorite Extra-Circular activity

  • Intramural sports with my classmates is a great way to get your mind away from the school work. There’s a huge variety of them and it’s one of the easiest ways to meet people outside of class.
