Fulbright Scholars Visit

Nicolás Martín Clauser is Industrial Engineer, Master in Integrated Management, and currently a doctorate student in Applied Science in the Institute of Materials of Misiones (Argentina). He is also Assistant Professor at the National University of Misiones.

His work is oriented at process modeling, process simulation and technoeconomic evaluation of biorefineries. He is one of our visitors at Forest Biomaterials department working with Dr. Ronalds Gonzalez.

Laura G. Covinich, is a Chemical Engineer, PhD in Materials Science, currently a postdoctoral fellow of CONICET (National Council of Scientific and Technical Research) in Argentina. Her research interests are located in catalytic processes of biomass oxidation, either for the reduction of the recalcitrant organic content of liquid streams as for its use in obtaining products with high added value in fine chemistry also, she works with Lignin valorization and Sustainable management of resources. She is working with Dr Gonzalez and Dr. Hasan Jameel on characterization of Hardwood lignin pulping throughout kraft pulping.
