2018-19 Faculty, Staff and Safety Awards

The 2018-19 school year wraps up with several honors awarded to Forest Biomaterials faculty, staff, & safety stewards.  The department would like to recognize these individuals for their expertise and dedication. The following awards were presented.

Faculty Awards

• Dr. Joel Pawlak, National Football Foundation, Faculty Athletics Representative Excellence Award
• Dr. Nathalie Lavoine, 2019 Polymer Science and Engineering Young Investigator Award ACS
• Dr. Ronalds Gonzalez, 2018-2019 University Faculty Scholar
• Dr. Med Byrd, Forest Biomaterials “Passion Award”
• Dr. Sunkyu Park, Outstanding Teacher Award
• Dr. Med Byrd, George Blessis Advising Award in the College of Engineering
• Dr. Hasan Jameel, University of North Carolina Board of Governors Award for Excellence in Teaching Nominee

Staff Awards

• Paula Harrod, Pride of the Wolfpack Award. The Pride of the Wolfpack Award recognizes individual employees for a special or unique contribution to their college, business unit, or NC State University.

Safety Awards
