Why did you choose Paper Science and Engineering (PSE)?
I chose PSE because I thought that it would be an interesting way to differentiate myself, and being in the PSE program opened the door to a lot of opportunities.
What is your favorite thing about Paper Science and Engineering?
The focus on professional development and all of the internship opportunities make the PSE program stand out. Their attention to detail in preparing us to be successful in our careers, compares to none!
What is your favorite thing about NC State?
I love going to NC State athletic events, and the Wolfpack fans create a great atmosphere at ALL games.
What advice would you offer to an incoming freshman?
The classes that you have to take can seem intimidating at times, but it’s important to remember that it is very manageable if you use your time well.
What would people be surprised to know about you?
I have played trombone in the Rose Parade, the London New Year’s Day Parade, and the Independence Day Parade in Washington, DC.
What is your favorite extracurricular activity?
Band is my favorite extracurricular activity because it gives me a unique opportunity and is a great way to make new friends.
