Paper Science and Engineering & Chemical Engineering
Why did you Choose NC State:
I really loved the staff and students that were at NC State, and I felt comforted and at home with all of them. I was also very excited about the Paper Science Program, and could not wait to learn more about it!
What activities did you participate in during high school? What was you favorite and why?
I was part of the varsity swim team, national honor society, committee for the class of 2021, student council, peer leadership committee, and I did costumes for the school play. Being part of the Class of 2021 Committee was my favorite because I got to meet with the student government for my class, and my fellow classmates to plan fun activities and fundraisers to be able to fund different activities such as our prom!
What are you most excited about as you head to NC State?
I am most excited to meet a lot of new people and experience living on my own with a ton of other people my age. I am also excited to start working with the paper products and using the Wolfpack Baby Papermachine!
What would people be surprised to know about you?
People would be surprised to know that I have a twin sister!
What are you going to miss from home?
I am going to miss being less the two miles from the beach at all times, my parents and sisters, and my dog named Sandy.
