Paper Science and Engineering & Chemical Engineering
Why did you Choose NC State:
I’ve always loved NC State’s campus, having grown up a fan of the sports teams, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve continuously heard great things about the engineering programs. My interest in Chemical Engineering led me to the College of Natural Resources, which caught my eye with this unique dual degree program.
What activities did you participate in during high school? What was you favorite and why?
I play tennis and was a starter for my varsity team all 4 years of high school. I am a very active member of my church’s youth program, and even served on our church session. I also was a member of NHS and participated in many service projects around my area and was a TA for chemistry.
What are you most excited about as you head to NC State?
I am excited to be on my own more and experience a little more freedom, as well as explore the city of Raleigh.
What are you gong to miss as you head to NC State?
I’ll miss not seeing some of my friends as often but I will most definitely not miss being in a small town.
