Fall 2022 Paper Industry Career Fair

Thank you to all that participated in the 2022 Paper Industry Career Fair on Wednesday, August 31 2022! We had a record breaking 35 companies in attendance along with 200+ Paper Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering students.

Cascades Tissue Group

We are a paper converting facility and have a plant in Wagram, NC and a paper mill in Rockingham, NC.

Clearwater Paper

Two mills located in Shelby NC produce a variety of high-quality premium and ultra-premium bathroom tissue, household paper towels, and napkins for major retail outlets throughout the U.S. using state-of-the-art technology.

Domtar

We design, manufacture, market and distribute a wide variety of communication, specialty and packaging papers, market pulp and airlaid nonwovens. We are the largest integrated manufacturer and marketer of uncoated freesheet paper in North America, and one of the largest manufacturers of pulp in the world. Our network of 12 pulp and paper mills and 9 manufacturing and converting facilities gives us approximately 2.7 million tons of papermaking capacity and 1.5 million air-dried metric tons (ADMT) of market pulp capacity annually to help us to serve our customers, support our employees and strengthen our communities.

DuBois Chemicals provides comprehensive solutions for mill contaminant control and improves machine fabric performance. DuBois’ patented fabric treatments and cleaners help fabrics run better, stay cleaner, and break-in faster. In addition, our unique contaminants control line addresses deposition problems from stickies, wood pitches, strength resins, scales, and biological growth. DuBois also provides foam control, odor elimination, water management, lubrication, and facility cleaning solutions.
